1:1 イエス・キリストの兄弟であり、またヤコブの兄弟でもあるユダから、父なる神に[1]きよめられ、イエス・キリストに守られ、召された人々へ。

あわれみと平安と愛とが、あなたがたに豊かに加わりますように。
1:3
[2]愛されている人々よ。[3]わたしは共にあずかっている救について、あなたがたに[4]できるだけ早く書こうとしましたが、ひとたび聖徒たちに伝えられた信仰のために戦うことを手紙を書きおくって勧めるざるを得ません。
1:4
そのわけは、[5]ある人々がしのび込んできたからです。彼らは、さばきを受けることに昔から予告されていた、不敬虔な人々です。彼らはわたしたちの天の神の恵みを下劣な生活に変え、また、わたしたちの唯一の主なる神と、わたしたちの主イエス・キリストを否定しているのです。

あなたがたはみな、[6]かつては知わたしはあなたがたがこの事を思い起こさせようと願っています。すなわち、主が民をエジプトの地から救い出して後、信じない人々を滅ぼされたことです。

主は、自分たちの領域を守ろうとはせず、彼ら自身がおるべき場所を捨てた御使たちを、大いなる日のさばきのために、永久の鎖でしばりつけて、暗やみの中に[7]幽閉ておかれました。

ソドム、ゴモラも、また、そのまわりの町々も、彼らと同じように性的な不道徳にふけり、不自然な肉欲（男色等）に走ったので、永遠の火の刑罰を受けて、人々の見せしめにされました。

アダムから七代目にあたるエノクも彼らについて預言して、こう言いました、「見よ、主は無数の聖徒たちを率いてこられた。

それは、すべての者にさばきを行うためであり、また、彼らすべての中の、不敬虔な者が犯したすべての不敬虔なわざと、不敬虔な罪人が彼に対して語ったすべてのかたくななことばとについて、罪を宣告するためです」。

これらの者は、ぶつぶつ文句を言う者、不平を言う者、自分の欲望にしたがって歩いている者です。その口は誇張して物を言い、利益を得るために人にお世辞を言つているのです。
1:17
しかし、あなたがた愛される人々よ。わたしたちの主イエス・キリストの使徒たちが以前語った言葉を思い出しなさい。
1:18
彼らはあなたがたにこう言いました、「終りの時には、あざける者たちがいて、彼らの不敬虔な欲のままに歩く」。
1:19
彼らは肉感的な者で、分派の元になる者、御霊を持たない者たちです。
1:20
しかし、あなたがた愛される人々よ。最もきよい信仰によってあなたがた自身を築き上げ、聖霊によって祈り続け、

神の愛の中に自らを保ち、永遠のいのちに至るわたしたちの主イエス・キリストのあわれみを待ち望んでいなさい。

疑いをいだく人々があれば、彼らを思いやりなさい。

また、ある人々をおそれの心をもって火の中から引き出して救ってやりなさい。しかし、肉に汚れた者に対しては、その衣服さえも憎みなさい。

Jud 1:1 Jude, a servant of Jesus Christ, and brother
of James, to the ones called in God the Father, having been set
apart, and having been kept by Jesus Christ:
1:2
Mercy and peace and love be multiplied to you.
1:3
Having made all haste to write to you about the common salvation,
beloved, I had need to write to you to exhort you to contend earnestly
for the faith once delivered to the saints.
1:4
For certain men crept in secretly, those having been of old previously
written into this condemnation, ungodly ones perverting the grace of our God
for unbridled lust, and denying the only Master, God, even our Lord Jesus
Christ.
1:5
But I intend to remind you, you once knowing these things, that the Lord
having delivered a people out of the land of Egypt, in the second place
destroyed the ones not believing.
1:6
And those angels not having kept their first place, but having deserted
their dwelling-place, He has kept in everlasting chains under darkness for the
judgment of a great Day;
1:7
as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them, in like manner to
these, committing fornication, and going away after other flesh, laid down an
example before-times, undergoing vengeance of everlasting fire.
1:8
Likewise, indeed, also these dreaming ones even defile flesh, and
despise rulership, and speak evil of glories.
1:9
But Michael, the archangel, when contending with the Devil, he argued
about the body of Moses, he dared not bring a judgment of blasphemy, but said,
Let the Lord rebuke you!
1:10 But what things they do not know, they speak
evil of. And what things they understand naturally, like the animals without
reason, they are corrupted by these.
1:11 Woe to them! For they went the way of Cain,
and gave themselves up to the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the
gainsaying of Korah.
1:12 These are sunken rocks in your love feasts,
feasting together with you; feeding themselves without fear; waterless clouds
being carried about by winds; fruitless autumn trees, having died twice, having
been plucked up by the roots;
1:13 wild waves of the sea foaming up their
shames; wandering stars for whom blackness of darkness has been kept forever.
1:14 And Enoch, the seventh from Adam, also
prophesied to these, saying, Behold, the Lord came with myriads of His saints,
1:15 to do judgment against all, and to rebuke all
the ungodly of them concerning all their ungodly works which they ungodly did,
and concerning all the hard things ungodly sinners spoke against Him.
1:16 These are murmurers, complainers, leading
lives according to their lusts. And their mouth speaks proud things, admiring
faces for the sake of gain.
1:17 But you, beloved, remember the words spoken
before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ,
1:18 because they told you that at the last
time there will be mockers according to their lusts, leading ungodly lives.
1:19 These are those setting themselves apart,
animal-like ones, not having the Spirit.
1:20 But you, beloved, building yourselves up in
your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit,
1:21 keep yourselves in the love of God, eagerly
awaiting the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to everlasting life.
1:22 But pity some, making distinction.
1:23 But save others with fear, snatching them
out of the fire; hating even the garment having been stained from the flesh.
1:24 Now to Him being able to keep you without
stumbling, and to set you before His glory without blemish, with unspeakable
joy;
1:25 to the only wise God, our Savior, be
glory and majesty and might and authority, even now and forever. Amen. 1
