１ペテロ３章（欽定訳聖書）

3:1  同じように、妻たちよ、あなた自身の夫に従順でありなさい。そうすれば、たとい、ある者は御言葉に従わなくても、言葉ではなく、妻たちの[1]振る舞いによって、

3:2  彼らがあなたがたの[2]恐れを伴った純潔な振る舞いを[3]じっと見て、その妻の無言の行いによって[4]勝ち取られるためです。

3:3  あなたがたの飾りは、髪を編んだり、金で装ったり、服装をしたりする外面的なものよりも、

3:4  隠れた人の心、すなわち、すたることのない、柔和で、穏やかな[5]霊で飾りなさい。それは神のみ前に大いなる価値のあるものなのです。

3:5  なぜなら、神に[6]期待していた、昔の聖なる女性たちも、このように自分自身を飾って、[7]自分たちの夫に従順であったのです。

3:6  サラはアブラハムに従い、彼を主と呼びました。あなたがたも、どのような事でも、[8]狼狽したり恐れたりすることなく善を行えば、サラの娘たちなのです。

3:8  最後に、あなたがたは皆、心をひとつにし、互いに同情し合い、兄弟として愛し、優しい心を持ち、[9]友好的でありなさい。

3:9  悪をもって悪に[10]報いず、悪口をもって悪口に報いず、反対に、祝福をもって報いなさい。あなたがたが召されたのは、祝福を受け継ぐためであることを[11]知っているからです。

3:10  というのは、「いのちを愛し、良い日々を見たいと願う人は、彼の舌を悪から控えさせ、彼のくちびるを偽りを言うことから遠ざけ、

3:11  悪を避け、そして善を行いなさい。また、平和を求めてこれを追求しなさい。

3:12  なぜなら、主の目は義人たちの上にあり、彼の耳は彼らの祈に開いている。しかし主の御顔は、悪を行う者に対して立ち向かう」。

3:17  それが神の御旨であれば、善をおこなって苦しむことは、悪をおこなって苦しむよりも、優れているのです。

3:18  なぜなら、キリストも、一度は諸々の罪のために死なれました。義なる方が、不義なる者のために死なれたのです。それは、彼が、[17]わたしたちを神の元に連れ来たるためです。彼は肉においては殺されましたが、霊においては生かされたのです。

3:19  こうして、彼は獄にいる霊たちのところにも行って、宣べ伝えられました。

1Pe 3:1  Likewise, wives, be in subjection to your own husbands, so that if any do not obey the Word, they may also be won without the Word by the conduct of the wives,

1Pe 3:2  having witnessed your chaste behavior in the fear of God.

1Pe 3:3  Of whom let not be the adorning of garments, or outward braiding of hair and wearing of gold, or of putting on clothing,

1Pe 3:4  but let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, the meek and quiet spirit, which is of great price in the sight of God.

1Pe 3:5  For so once indeed the holy women hoping in God adorned themselves, being in subjection to their own husbands;

1Pe 3:6  as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord; whose children you became, doing good and fearing no terror.

1Pe 3:7  Likewise, husbands, live together according to knowledge, giving honor to the wife as to the weaker vessel, the female, as truly being co-heirs together of the grace of life, not cutting off your prayers.

1Pe 3:8  And finally, all be of one mind, having compassion on one another, loving the brothers, tenderhearted, friendly.

1Pe 3:9  Never give back evil for evil, or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary,giving blessing, knowing that you are called to this so that you might inherit blessing.

1Pe 3:10  For he that wants to love life and to see good days, let him restrain his tongue from evil, and his lips from speaking guile.

1Pe 3:11  Let him turn aside from evil and do good. Let him seek peace and pursue it.

1Pe 3:12  For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears open to their prayers. But the Lord's face is against those who do evil.

1Pe 3:13  And who is the one who will harm you if you become imitators of the good?

1Pe 3:14  But if you also suffer for righteousness' sake, you are blessed. And do not fear their fear, nor be troubled,

1Pe 3:15  but sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and be ready always to givean answer to everyone who asks you a reason of the hope in you, with meekness and fear;

1Pe 3:16  having a good conscience, that while they speak against you as evildoers they may be shamed, those falsely accusing your good behavior in Christ.

1Pe 3:17  For it is better, if the will of God wills it, to suffer for well-doing thanfor evil-doing.

1Pe 3:18  For Christ also once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, indeed being put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the Spirit;

1Pe 3:19  in which also He went and preached to the spirits in prison,

1Pe 3:20  to disobeying ones, when once the long-suffering of God waited in thedays of Noah, while the ark was being prepared (in which a few, that is, eight souls were saved through water);

1Pe 3:21  which figure now also saves us, baptism; not a putting away of thefilth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God, by theresurrection of Jesus Christ;

1Pe 3:22  who is at the right hand of God, having gone into Heaven, where theangels and authorities and powers are being subjected to Him.

ペテロの第１の手紙５章

１ペテロ５章（欽定訳聖書）

5:1  そこで、あなたがたのうちの長老たちに勧めます。わたしも、長老のひとりであり、キリストの苦難についての証人です。そして、やがて現れようとする栄光にもあずかる者です。

5:2  あなたがたの内にある、神の羊の群れを[1]養い、[2]監督しなさい。強制でするのではなく、自発的に[3]自ら進んでなし、また、汚れた利得のためではなく、真心からしなさい。

5:3  また、[4]神から[5]受け継がされている人たちに[6]権力をふるうことをしないで、むしろ、群れの模範となりなさい。

5:4  そうすれば、大牧者が現れられる時には、あなたがたは、不滅の栄光の冠を受けるのです。

5:5  同じように、若い人たちよ。長老たちに従いなさい。また、みな互に謙遜を身につけなさい。なぜなら、神は高ぶる者に立ち向かい、へりくだっている者に恵みを賜うからです。

5:6  ですから、あなたがたは、神の力強い御手の下に自らを低くしていなさい。それは、適切な時に彼があなたがたを高くして下さるためです。

5:7  あなたがたのすべての思い煩いを、彼の元に[7]投げ込みなさい。なぜなら、彼はあなたがたを心配して下さっているのですから。

5:8  思慮深くあって、油断をしないようにしていなさい。なぜなら、あなたがたの敵対者であるディアボロスが、叫び声をあげているライオンのように、むさぼり食うものを求めて歩き回っているからです。

5:9  この者に対して、信仰に立って、しっかりと立ち向かいなさい。あなたがたが知っているとおり、同じ苦悩は、全世界にいるあなたがたの兄弟たちにも起こったのです。

5:10  しかし、すべての恵みの神は、[8]私たちをキリスト・イエスによって、彼の永遠の栄光に招き入れて下さり、あなたがたがいくらか悩まされた後、彼はあなたがたを完全な者とし、堅くし、力づけ、そして確立させて下さるのです。

5:11  彼に、栄光と[9]力が世々限りなくありますように、アァメン。

5:14  聖なる愛の接吻をもって互にあいさつをかわしなさい。キリスト・イエスにあるあなたがた一同に、平安がありますように。

1Pe 5:1  I exhort the elders who are among you, I being also an elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed.

1Pe 5:2  Feed the flock of God among you, taking the oversight, not by compulsion, but willingly; nor for base gain, but readily;

1Pe 5:3  nor as lording it over those allotted to you by God, but becoming examples to the flock.

1Pe 5:4  And when the Chief Shepherd shall appear, you shall receive a never-fading crown of glory.

1Pe 5:5  Likewise, younger ones, be subject to older ones, and all being subject to one another. Put on humility. For God resists proud ones, but He gives grace to the humble.

1Pe 5:6  Therefore be humbled under the mighty hand of God, so that He may exalt you in due time,

1Pe 5:7  casting all your anxiety onto Him, for He cares for you.

1Pe 5:8  Be sensible and vigilant, because your adversary the Devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking someone he may devour;

1Pe 5:9  whom firmly resist in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions in theworld are being completed in your brotherhood.

1Pe 5:10  But the God of all grace, He calling us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a little, He will perfect, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.

1Pe 5:11  To Him be the glory and the might forever and ever. Amen.

1Pe 5:12  I wrote to you through a few words, by Silvanus, a faithful brother to you, as I suppose, exhorting and testifying this to be the true grace of God in which you stand.

1Pe 5:13  The fellow-elected in Babylon greet you; also Mark my son.

1Pe 5:14  Greet one another with a kiss of holy love. Peace be to you, all those in Christ Jesus. Amen.
