　 1:1  イエス・キリストの兄弟であり、またヤコブの兄弟でもあるユダから、父なる神に[1]きよめられ、イエス・キリストに守られ、召された人々へ。

　 1:2  あわれみと平安と愛とが、あなたがたに豊かに加わりますように。

　 1:3  [2]愛されている人々よ。[3]わたしは共にあずかっている救について、あなたがたに[4]できるだけ早く書こうとしましたが、ひとたび聖徒たちに伝えられた信仰のために戦うことを手紙を書きおくって勧めるざるを得ません。

　 1:4  そのわけは、[5]ある人々がしのび込んできたからです。彼らは、さばきを受けることに昔から予告されていた、不敬虔な人々です。彼らはわたしたちの天の神の恵みを下劣な生活に変え、また、わたしたちの唯一の主なる神と、わたしたちの主イエス・キリストを否定しているのです。

　 1:5  あなたがたはみな、[6]かつては知わたしはあなたがたがこの事を思い起こさせようと願っています。すなわち、主が民をエジプトの地から救い出して後、信じない人々を滅ぼされたことです。

　 1:6  主は、自分たちの領域を守ろうとはせず、彼ら自身がおるべき場所を捨てた御使たちを、大いなる日のさばきのために、永久の鎖でしばりつけて、暗やみの中に[7]幽閉ておかれました。

　 1:7  ソドム、ゴモラも、また、そのまわりの町々も、彼らと同じように性的な不道徳にふけり、不自然な肉欲（男色等）に走ったので、永遠の火の刑罰を受けて、人々の見せしめにされました。

　 1:8  しかし、同様に、これらの夢見る人々も、肉を汚し、[8]権威を拒否し、栄光ある者たちの悪口を言っています。

Jud 1:1  Jude, a servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to the ones called in God the Father, having been set apart, and having been kept by Jesus Christ:

 1:2  Mercy and peace and love be multiplied to you.

 1:3  Having made all haste to write to you about the common salvation, beloved, I had need to write to you to exhort you to contend earnestly for the faith once delivered to the saints.

 1:4  For certain men crept in secretly, those having been of old previously written into this condemnation, ungodly ones perverting the grace of our God for unbridled lust, and denying the only Master, God, even our Lord Jesus Christ.

 1:5  But I intend to remind you, you once knowing these things, that the Lord having delivered a people out of the land of Egypt, in the second place destroyed the ones not believing.

 1:6  And those angels not having kept their first place, but having deserted their dwelling-place, He has kept in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of a great Day;

 1:7  as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them, in like manner to these, committing fornication, and going away after other flesh, laid down an example before-times, undergoing vengeance of everlasting fire.

 1:8  Likewise, indeed, also these dreaming ones even defile flesh, and despise rulership, and speak evil of glories.

 1:9  But Michael, the archangel, when contending with the Devil, he argued about the body of Moses, he dared not bring a judgment of blasphemy, but said, Let the Lord rebuke you!

 1:10  But what things they do not know, they speak evil of. And what things they understand naturally, like the animals without reason, they are corrupted by these.

 1:11  Woe to them! For they went the way of Cain, and gave themselves up to the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Korah.

 1:12  These are sunken rocks in your love feasts, feasting together with you; feeding themselves without fear; waterless clouds being carried about by winds; fruitless autumn trees, having died twice, having been plucked up by the roots;

 1:13  wild waves of the sea foaming up their shames; wandering stars for whom blackness of darkness has been kept forever.

 1:14  And Enoch, the seventh from Adam, also prophesied to these, saying, Behold, the Lord came with myriads of His saints,

 1:15  to do judgment against all, and to rebuke all the ungodly of them concerning all their ungodly works which they ungodly did, and concerning all the hard things ungodly sinners spoke against Him.

 1:16  These are murmurers, complainers, leading lives according to their lusts. And their mouth speaks proud things, admiring faces for the sake of gain.

 1:17  But you, beloved, remember the words spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ,

 1:18  because they told you that at the last time there will be mockers according to their lusts, leading ungodly lives.

 1:19  These are those setting themselves apart, animal-like ones, not having the Spirit.

 1:20  But you, beloved, building yourselves up in your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit,

 1:21  keep yourselves in the love of God, eagerly awaiting the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to everlasting life.

 1:22  But pity some, making distinction.

 1:23  But save others with fear, snatching them out of the fire; hating even the garment having been stained from the flesh.

 1:24  Now to Him being able to keep you without stumbling, and to set you before His glory without blemish, with unspeakable joy;

 1:25  to the only wise God, our Savior, be glory and majesty and might and authority, even now and forever. Amen. ¹

4:1  このように、キリストは肉において[1]わたしたちのために苦しまれたのですから、あなたがたも同じ[2]思いで心の武装をしなさい。なぜなら、肉において苦しんだ人は、罪からのがれたからです。

4:2  それは、彼がもはや人間の強い欲情のためではなく、神の[3]御旨のため（喜ばれるため）に肉における残りの生涯を過ごすためです。

1Pe 4:1  Therefore, Christ having suffered for us in the flesh, also you arm yourselves with the same thought, that he suffering in the flesh has been made to rest from sin,

1Pe 4:2  in order no longer to live in the lusts of men, but in the will of God the remaining time in the flesh.

1Pe 4:3  For the time of life which is past is enough for us to have worked out the will of the nations, having gone on in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, parties, carousings, and abominable idolatries.

1Pe 4:4  In these things they are surprised, that you are not running with them into the same excess of riot, blaspheming.

1Pe 4:5  But they shall give account to Him who is ready to judge the living and the dead.

1Pe 4:6  For to this end the gospel was preached also to the dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the Spirit.

1Pe 4:7  But the end of all things has drawn near. Therefore be of sound mind, and be sensible to prayers.

1Pe 4:8  And above all things have fervent love to yourselves, for love will cover a multitude of sins.

1Pe 4:9  Be hospitable to one another, without grudging;

1Pe 4:10  each one as he received a gift, ministering it to yourselves as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.

1Pe 4:11  If anyone speaks, let it be as the words of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as of the ability which God gives, so that God may be glorified in all things through Jesus Christ, to whom is the glory, and the might forever and ever. Amen.

1Pe 4:12  Beloved, do not be astonished at the fiery trial which is to try you, as though a strange thing happened to you,

1Pe 4:13  but rejoice according as you are partakers of Christ's suffering, so that when His glory shall be revealed, you may be glad also with exceeding joy.

1Pe 4:14  If you are reviled for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of God and of glory rests on you. Truly according to them, He is blasphemed, but according to you He is glorified.

1Pe 4:15  But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or a thief, or an evildoer, or a meddler in the affairs of others.

1Pe 4:16  But if one suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God because of this.

1Pe 4:17  For the time has come for the judgment to begin from the house of God. And if it first begins from us, what will be the end of those disobeying the gospel of God?

1Pe 4:18  And if the righteous one is scarcely saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?

1Pe 4:19  Therefore let those who suffer according to the will of God commit their souls in well-doing, as to a faithful Creator.

 3:1  愛せられる人たちよ。わたしは今この第二の手紙をあなたがたに書いています。（わたしは、これらの手紙によって記憶を呼び起し、あなたがたの純真な心を奮い立たせようとしたのです。）

3:2  それは、あなたがたが聖なる預言者たちによって以前語られた言葉と、わたしたち使徒が伝えた、主であり、また救主であるかたの戒めとを思い出させるためです。

3:3  第一に、このことを知っていて下さい。終りの日々あざける者たちが、あざけりながら出てきて自分の欲情のままに生活します。

 3:1  Beloved, I now write this second letter to you, in which I stir up your pure mind by reminder

 3:2  to remember the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of the Lord and Savior by us, the apostles.

 3:3  First, knowing this, that there will come in the last days scoffers walking according to their own lusts

 3:4  and saying, Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.

 3:5  For this is hidden from them by their willing it, that the heavens were of old, and the earth out of the water, and through water, being held together by the Word of God,

 3:6  through which the world that then was, being flooded by water, perished.

 3:7  But the present heavens and the earth being kept in store by the same Word, are being kept for fire until the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.

 3:8  But, beloved, let not this one thing be hidden from you, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

 3:9  The Lord is not slow concerning His promise, as some count slowness, but is long-suffering toward us, not purposing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

 3:10  But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a rushing noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat. And the earth and the works in it will be burned up.

 3:11  Then, all these things being about to be dissolved, what sort ought you to be in holy behavior and godliness,

 3:12  looking for and rushing the coming of the Day of God, on account of which the heavens, being on fire, will melt away, and the elements will melt, burning with heat?

 3:13  But according to His promise, we look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.

 3:14  Therefore, beloved, looking for these things, be diligent, spotless, and without blemish, to be found by Him in peace.

 3:15  And think of the long-suffering of our Lord as salvation (as our beloved brother Paul also has written to you according to the wisdom given to him

 3:16  as also in all his letters, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which the unlearned and unstable pervert, as also they do the rest of the Scriptures, to their own destruction).

 3:17  Therefore, beloved, knowing beforehand, beware lest being led away with the error of the lawless, you fall from your own steadfastness.

 3:18  But grow in grace and in knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.

 1:1  That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, concerning the Word of Life,

 1:2  (for the Life was revealed, and we have seen it and bear witness, and show to you the everlasting Life, who was with the Father and was revealed to us),

 1:3  that which we have seen and heard we declare unto you, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ.

 1:4  And we write these things to you so that your joy may be full.

 1:5  And this is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all.

 1:6  If we say that we have fellowship with Him and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.

 1:7  But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.

 1:8  If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

 1:9  If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

 1:10  If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His Word is not in us.

1:16  なぜなら、わたしたちは巧みな作り話を用いて主イエス・キリストの力と来臨とを、あなたがたに知らせたのではありません。わたしたちが、そのご威光の目撃者なのだからです。

1:17  なぜなら、彼は父なる神からほまれと栄光とをお受けになりましたが、その時、最も優れた栄光の中から次のようなみ声がかかったのです、「これはわたしの愛する子、わたしの心にかなう者である」。

1:18  また、わたしたちも彼に伴って聖なる山にいた時、天から出たこの声を聞いたのです。

1:19  また、そのようにして、わたしたちは、暗やみに輝くともしびを、夜が明けまで、すなわち、明星があなたがたの心にのぼるまで、心にこれをとめることは良いことだという、預言の言葉がさらに確かにされたのです。

1:20  あなたがたは、第一にこのこと、すなわち、すべての聖書の預言は、自分勝手に解釈すべきでないことを知っていなさい。

1:21  なぜなら、預言は決して人間の意志から出たのではなく、神の聖なる人々が、聖霊によって動かされたとおりに語ったものだからです。

2Pe 1:1  Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to those who have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of our God and our Savior Jesus Christ,

2Pe 1:2  Grace and peace be multiplied to you through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord,

2Pe 1:3  according as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who has called us to glory and virtue,

2Pe 1:4  through which He has given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, so that by these you might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

2Pe 1:5  But also in this very thing, bringing in all diligence, filling out your faith with virtue, and with virtue, knowledge;

2Pe 1:6  and with knowledge self-control, and with self-control, patience, and with patience, godliness,

2Pe 1:7  and with godliness, brotherly kindness, and with brotherly kindness, love.

2Pe 1:8  For if these things are in you and abound, they make you to be neither idle nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

2Pe 1:9  For he in whom these things are not present is blind and cannot see afar off and has forgotten that he was purged from his sins in the past.

2Pe 1:10  Therefore, brothers, rather be diligent to make your calling and election sure, for if you do these things, you shall never fall.

2Pe 1:11  For so an entrance shall be ministered to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

2Pe 1:12  Therefore I will not neglect to put you always in remembrance of these things, though you know them and are established in the present truth.

2Pe 1:13  But I think it right, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up by a reminder,

2Pe 1:14  knowing that the putting off of my tabernacle is soon, as indeed our Lord Jesus Christ made clear to me.

2Pe 1:15  And I will also be diligent to cause you to always have memory of these things after my departure.

2Pe 1:16  For not having followed fables having been cunningly devised, but becoming eyewitnesses of the majesty of Jesus Christ, we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord.

2Pe 1:17  For He received honor and glory from God the Father, when was borne to Him a voice from the excellent glory, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."

2Pe 1:18  And we heard this voice being borne from Heaven, being with Him in the holy mountain.

2Pe 1:19  We also have a more sure Word of prophecy, to which you do well to take heed, as to a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the Daystar arises in your hearts,

2Pe 1:20  knowing this first, that no prophecy of the Scripture came into being of its own private interpretation.

2Pe 1:21  For prophecy was not borne at any time by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke being borne along by the Holy Spirit.
